These sculptures were commissioned for the original site of the Four Seasons Resort in Vail, Colorado (circa 1980s, photo taken before moved to the resort). The original lodge was named The Chateau at Vail. The resort changed hands and was made into what we know as the Four Seasons Resort in 2005, but even in the 80s the 4 sculptures were meant to represent the four seasons and were placed in the courtyard. The one with the bow and arrow was meant to represent Summer. The family doesn't know what happened to the original sculptures during the reconstruction, but contact us if you have further information.
